A Quiet Late-Night Intrusion on the Stairs
Late at night, a camera above a stairway at a client’s property picked up a person pushing a stroller onto the property. According to Monitex Security, they had no permission to be there. This trespasser with a stroller caught on camera then spends some time on the stairs and the landing, moving around the stroller and crouching on the steps.
At first glance, the scene doesn’t look like much. Monitex’s monitoring team treated it as what it was, unauthorized activity on a client’s property, and contacted the police.
Officers then arrive. Flashlight beams sweep across the stairs, and two uniformed officers come through a door into the building’s hallway. The last part of the clip shows the stairway lit red and blue by patrol car lights while officers handle the call.
A person with a stroller moving slowly isn’t the kind of thing anyone goes back to check on a recording. Live operators saw someone on the property who shouldn’t have been there and had police on the way while the person was still on the stairs.
